🎉 Big news for Michigan! The Michigan House has passed SB 456, creating a statewide Silver Alert system, and the bill is now headed to the Governor’s desk for signature.
This hard-fought victory is the result of years of advocacy, powerful personal stories, and unwavering dedication from supporters across the state. 💜
Silver Alerts will help law enforcement quickly notify the public by text message when a senior or vulnerable adult goes missing—an essential tool when every minute counts. With 6 in 10 people living with dementia expected to wander at some point, this legislation has the potential to save lives and bring loved ones home safely.
