Our Story

Founded in 2015 as Virtual Reality @ Berkeley, Extended Reality @ Berkeley is a student group at Cal for people interested in experiencing or developing virtual and augmented reality technology. We sponsor project teams to do research and development with VR/AR technologies such as the Oculus Rift and Microsoft Hololens, and provide learning resources and access to equipment. We also host public demo days and tech talks to increase public awareness of immersive computing.
