We have a paid artist-in-residence program, a public print room, a workshop series, a summer camp, a shop, and more.

Join artist Lynne-Rachel Altman (she/her) for a fun and engaging glass painting workshop. We will use acrylic ink and glass to create unique works of art. Bring an image to trace (max size 5x7”) or use one of ours, and leave with a framed painting ready to hang. Suitable for all levels of experience. Ages 12+. $25- $35, no one turned away for lack of funds.

Come join artist, Mary Witkop Coffield, this Saturday 2-3:30pm, for an afternoon of Playing with Ink at 2727 California St! Make your own art piece using acrylic inks. It’s fun and easy. 2727 Artist Co-op presents Timelapse: Works in Progress, the exhibition will run from 08/07 to 08/16. This exhibit is envisioned as a “living” exhibit that will invite gallery visitors a view into the artistic process in real time through both observation and participation.

Come party with us on Opening Night, 6:00 pm-8:00 pm on August 7th at 2727 California Street! We’ll have snacks and drinks to enjoy!

Comprised of primarily unfinished artworks, Timelapse: Works in Progress will act not only as a window into the artistic process, but also as an opportunity for participating member / artists to engage their wider community of both audience and fellow artists in novel ways–from giving insight into their practice in demonstrating their workflow, eliciting reaction directly from the audience, to offering visitors the opportunity to participate in developing unfinished artworks together in community.
