Microfinance at Berkeley Microfinance at Berkeley is an organization focused on endorsing Kiva loans for Bay Area entrepreneur

We seek to provide students with valuable fieldwork experience by allowing them to act as loan officers and promote small business in the Bay Area by facilitating access to 0% interest loans of up to $10,000. We host workshops on Financial Technology, Social Media and Business Developments and provide one-on-one advising and consulting with small businesses. We work with low income entrepreneurs

with limited, poor, or no credit histories who may also not have collateral. We are partnered with organisations like the City of Berkeley, Oakland Digital, Berkeley Public Library, SF LGBTQ Center and La Cocina SF.
