Join California ACS, Silicon Valley ACS, and the ACS@Berkeley student chapter for a fun, virtual chemistry-themed trivia night. The event will be held over Zoom on Thursday, March 4th from 7-8 PM PT. Register for free as a team or let us assign you to a group. Come on out to meet some new people, put your chemistry knowledge to the test, and win awesome prizes! All are welcome.

2. CalACS Virtual Meeting: March 9 5PM PST

Attend the CalACS virtual meeting and listen to Christopher Olivares, postdoc at UC Berkeley with an assistant professor position beginning at UC Irvine in the Spring 2021 quarter, as he talks about his research in "Microbe-pollutant interactions between fluorinated fire-fighting foams and bioremediation of hydrocarbons and chlorinated solvents." The presentation will be followed by a Q&A session.

3. ACS Virtual Career Day for Undergraduate Students: March 27

The first Career Day of 2021 will be held 3/27. This Career Day event is geared toward undergraduate students curious about how to best make the transition from undergrad to graduate school/the working world. Just like our Career Days in 2020, part of the event will be a one-hour session of Career Consultant led breakout groups where attendees will have the opportunity to ask career-related questions and network.
