We are seeking applications from candidates with thorough training in the discipline of women, gender, and sexuality studies. Because of the interdisciplinary characteristics of the field, we are open to candidates from degree programs in any relevant department or discipline. This is an open search, although we are particularly interested in candidates with a scholarly focus on gender and visual, and/or digital cultures and technologies; critical race theory and/or critical indigeneities and American politics; and/or gender and science studies/reproduction. We are interested in a scholar with deep commitment to feminist transnational, postcolonial, and decolonial perspectives.
We are also interested in individuals who may have had nontraditional career paths or who may have taken time off for personal reasons (e.g., caretaking or disability), or who have achieved excellence in careers outside academe (e.g., in the arts, advocacy, or professional service).
