Creator God,
on Indigenous Peoples’ Day, we give thanks for Indigenous peoples, their diverse cultures, wisdom, and enduring care for the earth. Help us listen to their voices, honor their sovereignty, and face the harms of the past and present with honesty. Guide us toward healing, justice, and relationships rooted in respect. Amen.

Today we remember that mental health is part of our whole-person well-being. If you are struggling, you are not alone, your pain is not a failure of faith, and asking for help is an act of courage. May our churches be communities of compassion where people are heard, supported, and encouraged to seek the care they need.

Let us pray: Loving God, draw near to all who live with anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, loneliness, or other mental health challenges. Surround them with compassionate people, skilled care, renewed hope, and the assurance that they are deeply loved. Guide us in creating communities that live out your love. Amen.

If you or someone you know needs immediate support, call or text 988 to reach the Su***de & Crisis Lifeline.
