What can decades of sustainability leadership teach us about creating lasting impact?

Join Adamah's Jewish Green Business Network in San Francisco, CA for an intimate conversation with Joel Makower, founder of GreenBiz and one of the leading voices in sustainable business.

Expect thoughtful discussion, audience Q&A, meaningful connections, and a chance to meet others working across climate, sustainability, and impact.

Everyone is welcome, whether you're deeply immersed in the climate space or just beginning to explore how your professional life and Jewish identity can align with environmental values.

We are excited to announce another year of collaboration with Chochmat HaLev Chochmat HaLev for High Holy Days this year!

We're honored to partner with Chochmat HaLev in offering a High Holy Day experience that weaves together Jewish tradition, community, and the wisdom of the natural world.

This year, Wilderness Torah will be offering children's programming on Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, both eve and day. Our experienced educators will guide children through stories, games, nature connection, and Jewish learning, creating a meaningful holiday experience for our youngest community members.

In addition to children's programming, Wilderness Torah will be offering a few touchpoints throughout the High Holidays, most notably a meditative walk in the nearby woods on Yom Kippur afternoon that you won't want to miss!

You'll find the full schedule of programming, times, locations, and registration at chochmat.org/high-holy-days-2026

We look forward to sharing part of the High Holidays with you this year!

Are you curious about this year's Older to Elder program for adults, Ages 55+?

This is the third year we are running the Older to Elder program, each year it takes on a new life and we build upon years past.

This year we are offering several programs, some day-programs for local Bay Area folks ages 55+, and some longer-term programs for folks from anywhere across the country ages 64+.

Each program will explore the inner work that prepares people to fully embrace elderhood so they can become the elders whose wisdom and gifts are so urgently needed now. We will also incorporate nature connection, Jewish spiritual practices and life review/cultivating wisdom.

You can visit our website at adamah.org/older-to-elder to learn more

You can also attend an upcoming Info session to discover which program will best suit your wants and needs.

Sunday Aug 9, 4-5 pm PT, 6-7pm CT, 7-8pm ET
Tuesday Aug 11, 9-10am PT, 11am-12pm CT, 12-1pm ET

We are thrilled to have launched the third year of Older to Elder, our growing initiative for Jewish adults 55+ seeking to embrace elderhood with wisdom, purpose, and community!

What began in 2025 has blossomed into a rich pathway of experiences that support the journey from older to elder.

Rooted in Earth-based Judaism, these offerings invite us to learn from the seasons, the more than human world, each other, and the wisdom of Jewish tradition as we navigate one of life's most meaningful transitions.

Whether you live here in the Bay Area or are across the country, we hope you'll join us for one of the many program options we have available!

Come spend a day outdoors, gather for Shabbat, participate online from wherever you are, or travel to Northern California for a deeply immersive retreat.

If this season of life is calling to you, or if someone you love is on the journey into elderhood, we invite you to explore these offerings and help us spread the word!

Introducing Your Trip Leaders for Young Adult Neshama Quest!
Eli Klarman is a community organizer, culture builder, youth educator, and facilitator of men’s work. Eli grew up in the suburbs of Atlanta, GA and spent most of his summers in the Blue Ridge mountains where he was introduced to his relationship with nature and the wild. After graduating from college Eli moved to New Orleans, LA where he founded the city’s only climbing gym, which he led for 6 years before transitioning into a support role which he still holds. Since that time he has been working in youth education, guiding Civil Rights trips in the deep South, and as a facilitator of men’s work in the California Bay Area, where he currently lives.

Eli is passionate about fostering connection and relationships, and believes strongly in the role of nature and wild spaces as a teacher in these efforts. He enjoys supporting others in deepening their relationships to self, place, and community through ritual, song, and food.

Caledonia Krieger grew up in San Rafael, CA and has always felt her Jewish identity to be tied to community and the Earth. She has been involved with Wilderness Torah since 2014 and has been on 4 Neshama Quests as a participant and 1 as a mentor. She recently graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in geophysics. Caledonia loves sharing her love of the outdoors with others, especially in her home of Marin County. In her free time, she enjoys playing ultimate frisbee, baking, and reading (preferably with her cat on her lap).

These two are ready to bring you the trip of a lifetime this summer!

A few spaces are still open to join us.
