Join this nuts and bolts training about establishing an herb apothecary with several key Herbalists Without Borders coordinators, including Executive Director, Gigi Stafne.
Tune into the top 20 considerations before you begin an apothecary. However, if you already have an apothecary you'll benefit from this training, too. Learn from HWB about current apothecary issues that businesses and non-profits face...and much more.

Training Fee: $10 for official Herbalists Without Borders members;
$25 for non-members/public. Must pay and pre-register via PayPal to ensure RSVP. Once registered and paid you'll receive call-in code information. 100% of training fees go to HWB, a health justice and humanitarian non-profit.

It is time for our next project.

We will be making First Aid Kits. Herbalists Without Borders sends Herbal First Aid Kits to disaster sites all over the world. Last year the demand was very high because of work from Standing Rock to the earthquake in Haiti. Our goal is to make 50 herbal first aid kits. We will keep 2 for our mobile van and send 48 to HWB headquarters. These first aid kits will be needed throughout the US as Street Medics support protestors around the country in the coming months. Keep an eye for the event sign up. It is coming soon.

Know what to do if you are arrested at a protest. . Protesters at UC Berkeley have been told to disperse by police. Know what to do when the handcuffs come out.

It is not too late to sign up for insurance on the exchanges. The ads have been pulled, but enrollment is still open. Don't be intimidated. Get covered!

Jumana Na and Austin are heading to Sacred Rock to deliver the herbal medicine we made. They have room in the car for a few more donated items. If you have anything that you want to send, let's make sure you connect with them. They leave Tuesday.

We had a great day making medicine. Seventeen people worked a long day to make medicine to send to Standing Rock. Herbalists working together for social justice.
