We are making an exception post this appeal for a young Bay Area Tibetan Tenzin Chonden la, who is in her early 20’s and suffering from a disease that has made it next to impossible to walk anymore. I have met the family and know her case is genuine. She is desperately in need of an e-wheelchair and we appreciate your contribution of any amount. Any amount above the goal, will be donated to Tenzing Chonden la directly (to help with her OOP medical copayments.

We remember all the women who have fought courageously and tirelessly to ensure the rights and privileges many women have today….yet there is more work ahead, for instance, for all the girls in oppressive regimes where basic rights such as education are being denied!
