As we are reaching the end of the semester for this academic year, bridges Retention presents the Stay Curious Scholarship scholarship to support your financial needs in expanding your curiosities academically, professionally, or personally! 😁

This scholarship is geared towards those who are first-generation, low-income, non-traditional, transfers, re-entries, student parents, LGBTQIA+. Nonetheless, all are welcome to apply and will be considered❗️

🍀To apply, you have to be a UC Berkeley Student (Undergraduate or Graduate), and answer a short prompt!

Our bridges Staff Application for the 2026-2027 school year is now LIVE 🌟🌟

✨ bridges Multicultural Resource Center is looking to fill ALL positions on our board for the upcoming school year. We’re looking for equity-minded student leaders who are passionate about supporting and uplifting our 7 student-led Recruitment and Retention Centers and building multicultural solidarity.

bridges Transfers in partnership with Mixed @ Berkeley would love to introduce you to the next event in the TED series, Transfer Empowerment Day: Professional Mixer!

💫Come join us to practice skills in coffee chatting, network with other students, listen to a guest speaker’s transfer experience, followed by a Q&A, participate in ID holder decorating and vision board creation, and of course, FREE FOOD!! 💫

📝TED: Professional Mixer will be hosted on Friday, April 3rd, from 1:30 to 3:30 in HFA D37! Come get even more professional with us!!📝

Calling all graduating seniors! 🎓🤍

The end of the semester is slowly approaching! As we near the final days, we want to give y’all the space to let your creativity flow by coming to Cap It Off - a grad cap decorating event! Various art supplies will be provided, but we welcome you to bring your own embellishments - stickers, cutouts, whatever your heart desires for your grad cap! Food will be provided on a first come first serve basis, so be sure to get there early!

Date: Wednesday, April 1 from 5:30pm - 7:30pm

Welcome to bridges x MRRC’s Transfer Empowerment Day! We’ll be hosting a number of presentations and workshops on zoom centered on professional development. Ranging from 🖇️ LinkedIn development, 📝 resume development, 🗣️interview tips, 🕵️‍♂️ job recruitment demystifying and 🐻 Berkeley specific programs aimed at professional development! Accompanying these presentations will also be a student panel of folx throughout the bridges transfer community who are involved in various avenues of professional development 👨‍💼👩‍💼

The event will be hosted on zoom👩‍💻👨‍💻:
Sunday March 22nd from 12 - 4 pm and is open to both current transfers and community college students looking to get a head start!

Helloooo Transfer Community 🐻⭐️,

As we kick off the new spring semester (last semester for some of us), we want to take a moment to welcome you back and recognize the time you’ve spent here at CAL as you navigate your experience as a transfer student.

Whether you’re returning from winter break getting ready to finish strong or stepping further into your transfer journey, we’re excited to support you this semester.

Reflecting on our own journeys as transfer students, we recognize and wanted to highlight that the transfer experience is not one-size-fits-all. This scholarship is intentionally designed to uplift and support transfer identities and sub- communities that are often less highlighted within the broader transfer space - including our beloved re-entry students, Underground Scholars/formerly incarcerated students, student-parents, veterans, and our community college students. We invite yall to reflect and share your stories with us during your time here at Berkeely!

Are you curious about where to access food?🤔 Join us at Nourish to Flourish!🥕

The bridges Retention, Wellness, & GenSex Committee, aims to demystify food security by helping students learn more about community food access, such as local food pantries and hot meal locations, along with a mini SAR 7 guide to ensure maintenance of CalFresh Benefits. Eating healthy doesn’t have to be costly! This Wednesday, come to HFA D37 to learn about different community resources where one can access cheap, healthy foods!

Additionally, we will be ending off with a mini food handout, so we can continue to support your nourishment as you flourish ✨ So make sure you BYOB (bring your own bag!🛍️)

Note: Due to capacity, the food handout portion will be prioritized to community members who attend the full event. Once all attendees have had a chance to secure their food, we will continue to distribute among the community while supplies last.
