On April 17th, Berkeley Chinese Alumni International Association (BCAIA) hosted the Berkeley Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forum. Thank you to Randy Schekman, Cheng Liu, Sophia Dou, Isabelle Finger, Reynold Xin, Richard Chan, Nick Wakefield, Simon Zhang, Chuck Ng, Kai Mai, Ran Bi, Joe Zhao, Russell Saito, and Claudia Lin for presenting on various topics from different industries. We had the opportunity to learn about the newest innovations in Parkinson's disease, how Databricks became a unicorn, the stories of perseverance as an entrepreneur, and many more amazing presentations.
We are so grateful to the 300 plus people who came to our event! The attendees included people from China, Malaysia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, and the United States. The enthusiastic and passionate attendees are the reason why BCAIA continues to put together events for business insights and networking. We want to help connect students, business leaders, and alumni around the world.
Thank you to all of our partners, BCAIA leaders, and ambassadors who made this event possible! BCAIA will be recruiting for our Ambassadors Program during Fall 2021. Ambassadors will receive hands-on experience by hosting and marketing large-scale speaker events and exclusive mentorship opportunities with professionals from Google, Facebook, Apple, banking/consulting companies, and more.
