In the wake of civil unrest and a global pandemic, that forced students all over the world to attend classes on Zoom affecting students’ mental health, and ability for community involvement, in order to facilitate community building and help Latinx students find an inclusive and supportive space to explore their interests and learn from others in our diverse community, the Latinx Students Association was founded in the Fall of the 2020 school year.
