Mark your calendars! Join the Historic Preservation Committee for the 4th Annual Littell-Lord Fall Festival!
Our favorite fall tradition is back — and it's bigger than ever! 🍁
Help us move preservation of this historic property forward! The 4th Annual Littell‑Lord Farmstead Fall Festival is coming up on Saturday, October 18th from 12‑4pm.
The Fall Festival offers fun for all ages! 🍂 Enjoy artisan crafters, games, pumpkin painting, face painting, farmstead tours, raffles, food trucks, and a beer garden.
In addition the PBA will be hosting a Fishing Derby from 12-2 and Boy Scout Troop 368 will be sponsoring a Haunted Hollow!
Local art will take center stage, featuring Governor Livingston High School students’ woodworking and art on display.
The Littell‑Lord Farmstead is a treasure of Berkeley Heights history: built around 1760 by Andrew Littell, passed to the Lord family in 1867, and purchased by the township in 1975. Today it stands on 18 acres that include the original farmhouse, summer kitchen, a stone springhouse, and more.
Restoration and preservation efforts are underway, driven by grants and local donations. The township and its Historic Preservation Committee are working hard to stabilize the structure, restore architectural features, and protect this rare reminder of Union County’s agricultural past.
