On Patriot Day, we remember the lives lost and the heroes who emerged on September 11, 2001. Today, we honor the courage and selflessness of first responders, service members, and everyday Americans who stood together in the face of tragedy. As we reflect on their sacrifice, let us reaffirm our commitment to freedom, unity, and the values that define our great nation. We will never forget.

Because of last night's rainfall, make sure to dump any standing water that may have collected in your yard and around your home. Mosquitoes only need as little as a teaspoon of water to breed.

Turn over garbage cans and lids, containers, planters, bird baths, wheelbarrows, toys, yard decorations, pool covers, and anything else that may be holding water from last night's rain.

Don't let your home become a mosquito breeding ground. NO WATER = NO MOSQUITOES.

Be proactive and vigilant. Learn more about mosquito safety at https://www.co.bergen.nj.us/public-works-mosquito-control
