Last week, we lost a pillar of our learning community. No one exuded more bear pride than Mr. James Fasano, our esteemed Principal of BHS. Each morning, he greeted students and staff with a smile and positive energy as they entered the building for the day.

We wish his friends, family, and colleagues our deepest condolences. His passing has left a void in our district that can truly never be filled. The entire Bergenfield community will forever mourn its loss.

Rest in peace, Mr. Fasano. Your Bear Pride will live on forever in our hearts! ❤️🖤❤️

Due to limited parking near Conlon Hall, there will be free shuttle bus service from Bergenfield High School to Conlon Hall from 2:45 pm to 8:15 pm on July 2nd. Please park in the back of Bergenfield High School and walk to the front of the school to get on a bus.

Mr. Fasano wishes were that in lieu of flowers, to donate via check made out to the Bergenfield Board of Education, C/O James Fasano It’s A Great Day To Be A Bear Scholarship, 225 W Clinton Ave, Bergenfield, NJ 07621. He will forever be in our hearts.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of our beloved Bergenfield HIgh School Principal, Mr. Fasano’s passing. A dedicated leader, his unwavering support and kindness touched the lives of so many.
