Helping Turtles Safely: Turtles often embark on journeys that may lead them across roads or into unfamiliar territories. Observing a turtle on our property can be an exciting event, but it’s important to know how to assist these creatures properly while ensuring your own safety.

The turtle you see could have emerged from any of the habitats around your property. It’s possible it’s simply exploring or migrating from one location to another. Turtles are known for their slow and steady pace, and they sometimes travel considerable distances.

This one below was spotted out by our front drive. Check out some important tips on helping turtles, if needed: https://acrobat.adobe.com/id/urn:aaid:sc:US:bfeec08a-438f-4dac-a266-ce8f73f284b9
