We invite all Kentucky artists to submit their work for Handmade for the Holidays: The Art of Giving, our annual holiday market exhibit! This exhibit has a $15 submission fee for non-members, and will be the second exhibit in our new space on Chestnut St. in Berea! We will be hosting a reception on Friday, December 4th for those who would like to shop for gifts! Please fill out our online form at kentuckyguild.org/handmadeholidays or request a physical form at drop-off.

Here’s a preview of some of the skilled artists that will be vending at our 58th Annual Fall Art Market! We’re so excited to showcase the work of over 60 talented makers at our biggest event of the year!

The Kentucky Guild of Artists and Craftsman is proud to announce our 58th Annual Fall Art Market at the Kentucky Artisan Center on October 17th, from 10am-5pm & October 18th, 10am-4pm!

Located in the heart of the folk art capitol of Berea, KY, save the date to experience the finest Kentuckian craftsmanship that the state has to offer located right off of I-75 on lawn of the Kentucky Artisan Center - enjoy live music, artist demonstrations, local food trucks, and a wide array of other fine cultural artistry.
We will be featuring a new section this year, as well as developing others: the “Lifetime Member” section of the show will allow artists in our historical membership to exhibit at the event without the stresses of a typical booth setup, elimating the common barriers for artists who no longer typically set up at outdoor events. The previously developed Emerging Artist & Author/Illustrator sections will be seeing a large expansion as well. The Emerging Artist section highlights artists who are beginning their journey and whose work shows promise in the Kentuckian art scene, and the Author/Illustrator Section will highlight published Kentucky authors & illustrators.

There will be free admission, parking, and an overflow shuttle service for patrons to utilize at our FREE event! Plan on making it a full day as there is plenty to explore at the Kentucky Artisan Center and within Berea!

What does a bunny with braille, a felt-made fidget, crunchy dinosaur eggs, an overweight koala and handcarved worry spoons have in common? They are all handcrafted work made by our artists who submitted to our "In Good Hands" pop-up experience! This program aims to make art accessible to EVERYONE ✨ Thanks to the Madison County Health Department and Kentucky Arts Council, we are grateful to have this opportunity to learn how to connect with our neighbors who may have experienced barriers that prevent them to enjoy art and community events. We are incredibly impressed and inspired by RobinMSimpson Worker Bee Sewing Company Happy Spooning by Chill who create work with purpose. "In Good Hands" will set up a calming station this Saturday 6-8pm at the Mountaineer Fest at Berea College.
