Singing is calming, helps you forget the stresses of the day. Choir singing contributes to a sense of belonging and joy. Choir singers are more optimistic, more likely to vote, less lonely. So many reasons to sing with Berea Classic Chorale.

Studies have linked singing in a choir to reducing stress hormones, increasing immune-boosting cytokines and stimulating memory for people with dementia.

The Berea Classic Chorale begins its new season with rehearsals on Mondays at 7 p.m. beginning August 21, at Union Church, Berea.

We have a strong core of singers, many who have been with the Chorale since 2014. BUT, we are always ready to welcome more folks who love to sing and appreciate the wonderful community that singing together creates. Group singing is a lifetime pleasure that we want to advance in the Berea area. Those who have had memorable choral experiences, perhaps in high school or college, will find a place to rediscover that experience!

Friends who are in the area, the Chorale and I are excited about sharing an hour of beautiful choral music with you TONIGHT, Friday, May 12 at 7:30 in the resonant acoustics of Union Church's Sanctuary. Sacred and secular, old and new, this program celebrates the wonder of song.
Take a break from the day's stresses and worries and feed your soul with beautiful sounds!
Afterward, join the reception complete with tasty goodies.
