Mark those calendars -July 5! Berea Interdependence Art Parade : A Community Art Spectacle, Mobile Concert & Story Performance

Starting at 6pm at The Lot (446 Chestnut St), we'll gather to admire all our wonderous creations. At 7pm, the parade moves down N. Broadway through Memorial Park - giant puppets, costumes, performances. At 8:30, we land at the Russel Acton Folk Center for a lawn party and concert featuring Panorama Brass Band, straight from New Orleans.
Berea Kids Eat. Food trucks. Family fun. Free.

Today! Alfalfas will be set up with free youth meals and will be there with boba and waffles. Stop by and see us at 530 Glades road. 11am-1pm.

On May 30, we're at the Glades Community Garden -> and this one's a party!

Jeri Katherine Howell plays a late-morning set of folk/Americana rooted in Appalachian tradition with a full band! Our music therapist/musician, Cecilia Stair, will have an instrument booth set up for music making. And it's the first day of Berea Kids Eat Summer meal distribution, with free food from Alfalfa for every kid 18 and under on site. Music at the garden, free lunch, Saturday morning. Come out.

Free. All ages. Saturday, May 30, 11am–1pm. Glades Community Garden, 530 Glades Road.

The Kentucky Arts Council, the state arts agency, supports AMP Berea with state tax dollars and federal funding from the National Endowment for the Arts. This project is funded in part by a grant from South Arts in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts and the Kentucky Arts Council.

Thank you KY Tourism, Arts, & Heritage Cabinet and Kentucky Arts Council for supporting AMP Berea with an Arts Access Assistance grant!

Today, Governor Andy Beshear announced that 12 nonprofit organizations in Kentucky will receive $50,000 in grants to support health & wellness through the arts. 🩺🎨 The Arts Access Assistance (AAA) grants will support arts-based strategies to address critical community needs, including mental health, recovery and social connection. Thanks to the Kentucky Arts Council for administering these grants and supporting folks in need in our New Kentucky Home! 💜

We've embarked on year 12 of free live music! Something Sandy & Appalatin played to a sweet, shady crowd at Saint Joseph Berea — intimate, intergenerational, and exactly what we hoped for. Berea Home Village ran out of Music & Meaning surveys because so many folks wanted to share how them.

Thank you for coming out. Thank you for giving on Kentucky Gives Day. Thanks to your generosity we raised $2888!
