Hi again friends,

This is a reminder of our Poetry From Art Workshop on Saturday, June 13, from 1-4 PM at Bobtown Arts, 132 Smith Lane, Berea, 40403.

Drive to the end of the gravel driveway past the ceramic studio toward the new building--my white SUV will be parked out front.

Please arrive 10 minutes early to sign in and settle in.

The Kentucky Foundation for Women is providing funding for our gathering through the Art Meets Activism Grant. Your participation and all your take-home goodies are free of charge!

Bring your heart for personal exploration in the context of a women's circle; we'll have a fun and meaningful time together--women in diverse chapters of our lives with a common interest in art, meaning-making and thriving.

We'll practice some nervous system calming in the beginning and we'll leave the gathering feeling filled up.

Dear writers, you are invited to an in-person free writing/creative silent retreat at Bobtown Arts Writing Studio in Berea this coming Sunday, June 14, 1:30-4:30 pm.
There is no program, requirement, or accountability—just time and space in silence to write (or read or draw or walk or reflect or make photographs.) Snacks provided. We'll gather at the beginning for an invitation to write and gather again toward the end so that anyone who wants can share work (no sharing is required). No preparation or particular production is necessary—just a willingness to be together in silence and open to creative possibilities.
Many of you will remember that up until the pandemic, I hosted these retreats at my home I’m delighted that Bobtown Arts Writing Studio can now offer such a beautiful space for creative work. See https://www.bobtownarts.org/ for more information. The Studio is located at 132 Smith Lane, Berea. Be sure to come up the gravel drive. There’s parking in front of the Studio.

Getting to know the wheel class for 5-12-26 is now Closed. If you didn't get a spot this class you can still join our next class 5-26-26. Beginning class, no experience needed. If you are a returning student or just need more practise, try Open Studio Saturday. 5-9-26. This is not a class, just a practise session. Get tickets at the bobtownarts.org website events page.
