Today would have been Matt’s 44th Birthday. It is a happy day that we had him for 20 years and a sad day that he isn’t here now. Hold your loved ones close and celebrate having them near.

Brayden Thacker, incoming junior from Rockcastle County High School was chosen to represent Team Kentucky at Prep Baseball’s Future Games in Lakepoint, Georgia. Prep Baseball’s Future Games brought together the top uncommitted Class of 2028 prospects from over 40 states and Canada. Brayden had the opportunity to play in front of over 400 college coaches. For Team Kentucky, Brayden was one of the top 25 players in the state. Brayden finished the week of showcase games with a batting average of .400 and an impressive mound performance as one of 3 two way players. August 1st, is the official first day that colleges can reach out to Brayden and he’s already been in with communication with schools seeking him to play at a collegiate level.
