Berea Community Learning Farm

Berea Community Learning Farm The BCLF is a non-profit agricultural project that uses organic farming and sustainability practices with the goal of strengthening the Berea community.

The City of Berea, along with the Berea City School District and local volunteers, have transformed the vacant land where the Riveredge School used to be (228 Emerson Ave - Behind Dora Lee Ball Field - Berea, Ohio 44017) into an agricultural project that will use organic farming and sustainability practices. The goals of the Berea Community Learning Farm are three-fold:

1) to educate the citizens

of Berea about nutrition, agriculture and how to grow organic foods
2) to educate school-age children in the Berea City School District about plant biology, agriculture and nutrition
3) to assist low-income residents in establishing home gardens enhancing their nutrition and health.
