Greetings all...the May menu is out! New BOM Burger, a BLT, and tots and o-rings are back too, along with the Grindstone salad. Also, online ordering is back. Our lodge is hosting an amazing event for all veterans, active military, and first responders. We're actually doing it twice with the first event on February 25 and the second on March 3. It is free and each attendee gets some amazing tools including a free glucose meter, a free smart watch fitness tracker, some journaling tools and more! It's a short 2-hour seminar focused on mental wellness for those that work or have worked in very intense, high-stress environments. PLEASE share with everyone you can. The Hoop Shoot has been scheduled for Saturday December 9th from 11:00am to 1:00pm at the Berea Rec Center. It’s open to all boys and girls ages 8 through 13. Please pass it along to anyone who’d be interested.

Berea Elks Lodge #1815 recently donated 100 cusom-made backpacks stuffed with a full year’s worth of school supplies to Berea-Midpark Middle School. The purple and orange backpacks emblazoned with the Titan’s logo were loaded with every school supply an incoming 5th grader would need to get through the school year.

In all, more than $6,500 in supplies were donated to the school on behalf of the Elks. The funds were made poossible by a super-sized Beacon Grant from the Elks National Foundation (ENF).

Elks members stuffed every backpack and then hand delivered them to the school. This is the second year the lodge has run this program that benefits nearly 1 of every 3 5th grade students entering the year.

Hey all local Berea friends...our lodge is working on a follow up care package for our Troops in Kuwait. They are in need of laundry pods that have fabric softener in them and fabric softener sheets. If you would like to donate, please drop them off at the Berea Elks Lodge in the next week or so. There will be a large Rubbermaid bin on the back patio. Our last care package helped over 100 troops stationed in Kuwait. Thanks to you all!!!!
