Please join us for two of our monthly get togethers on Saturday, March 14 and Tuesday, March 17!

This Saturday is our legislative information workshop where we will learn how legislative bills come to be, the process it goes through, and access points we have to change and shape the bills.

On Tuesday, we will gather for our monthly KFTC Madison County Chapter meeting. We will look at local, state, and national candidates running in the upcoming primary to determine if there is anyone the chapter wishes to endorse. Additionally, we will look at planning for upcoming events. Please bring a friend (or two) with you!

226 people used the SB 80 Voting Rights action today already!

Senate Bill 80 has passed the senate and moved on to the house. This is a voting rights bill, but it's a bill we can't support in its current form because it's not clear enough and it's not broad enough. We need to amend it to make it stronger and exclude no one.

We wrapped up a Madison KFTC meeting just now with a couple new members, an upcoming Singing for Democracy, some decisions on locally printed voter guides, lots of work on the General Assembly, a little training on centering grassroots organizing, a decision to table at Richmond Pride, and more!
