2026 BEREA CHRISTMAS COUNTRY DANCE SCHOOL REGISTRATION IS OPEN!
It’s time! We’re excited to invite you to join us this year! It will be great to see old friends, make new friends and welcome the younger dancers to our community.
NEW THIS YEAR!
While we have scheduled Intergenerational Dance and the Morris Tour during the sixth period, we would also like to invite you to lead a class during that hour!
Do you have a hobby, interest, or love of something special that can be shared? For instance, could you lead a jam session of jazz, teach us how to tie a bow tie, teach Irish Step dance, teach the art of origami, get a group together to crochet? These are just examples; here’s how it will work: On your registration form, we will have a question about what you might like to offer (if anything) and the time you would need. For instance, perhaps ‘bowtie-ing’ is a 30-minute, one-day session.
Once registration has ended on December 12, we will take the responses of those who are offering to lead a session. (These are not paid sessions for the presenter or musicians.) Notices will be sent to participants and staff with a list of ‘classes’ offered to register. This will help us determine room size needed. These offerings are not to be more than two hours (two days).
You do not have to sign up for any of these offerings. Perhaps some quiet time is needed. Or sign up for only one thing during the week. But do remember, there is dancing with our up-and-coming dancers each day!
The Morris Tour has its own class session.
If you have been in attendance at BCCDS in the last four years you can invite a friend new to BCCD. If they attend, you will get a $50 discount, payable at check-in! ‘New to BCCDS’ can also include someone who hasn’t been to Dance School in the last 15 years. Each participant may only receive this discount one time per year.
New this year is an all-day children’s program for participants’ children, ages 6-12. There are very limited spaces. Their schedule would be: two classes in the morning, Morningsong and lunch with parent(s), afternoon children’s program, supper with parent(s), playtime during evening dancing then with parent for Parlor. The cost is $300 for the week per child. Each child must be registered through the regular ‘adult’ registration system.
