🎉 Happy 50th Birthday to FOP Member of the Year, Corporal Kerry Pippin! 🎂

Today, we’re celebrating Corporal Pippin as he reaches the big 5-0! Kerry is the commander of our Bomb Squad and the proud K9 handler of Kali, his four-legged partner and bomb squad dog. 🐕‍🦺💣

For years, Corporal Pippin has dedicated himself to serving and protecting our community, taking on some of the most challenging and specialized responsibilities in law enforcement. Whether responding to a potential threat or working alongside Kali to help keep our community safe, Kerry brings professionalism, commitment, and a genuine dedication to those he serves.

His hard work and service have not gone unnoticed — as demonstrated by being named our FOP Member of the Year! We’re proud to have him as a member of our law enforcement family.

Please join us in wishing Corporal Kerry Pippin a very happy 50th birthday! 🎉🎈

Happy Birthday, Kerry! We hope your day is filled with family, friends, and laughter.

Members of the Fraternal Order of Police Bentonville Lodge and the Bentonville Police Department were honored to sponsor four officers and one spouse this year to attend National Police Week in Washington, D.C..

This year carried an especially heavy and meaningful significance as Sergeant Onan Castro was able to stand alongside the family, friends, and fellow deputies of his brother, Deputy Hector Cuevas Jr. of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, who was tragically killed in the line of duty last year. While no family should ever have to endure the heartbreak and devastation that comes with losing a loved one in service to others, it was a profound honor for our department and lodge to help ensure Sgt. Castro could be present for the memorial ceremonies honoring his brother’s sacrifice. Police Week serves as a solemn reminder of the tremendous courage carried by law enforcement officers and the unimaginable loss carried by the families left behind. Deputy Cuevas’ legacy, service, and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Throughout the week, the officers also joined thousands of law enforcement professionals from across the nation in honoring the men and women who have laid down their lives in the line of duty. During their time in D.C., the officers were also able to meet with Arkansas Congressman Steve Womack.

In addition to the memorial events and ceremonies, the group had the opportunity to experience several historic sites and law enforcement landmarks throughout the nation’s capital. Officers toured the Library of Congress, visited the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial, and explored the National Law Enforcement Museum. These experiences served as meaningful reminders of the rich history, sacrifice, and continued dedication of law enforcement officers across our country.
