This week, we say farewell and express our deepest gratitude to Sergeant Adam Corbett as his remarkable tenure with the Bentonville Police Department and the Bentonville FOP comes to a close.
Adam has been an invaluable member of the Bentonville FOP Executive Board since 2018, serving at various times as our Lodge Treasurer and Trustee. His leadership, dedication, and passion for serving both the organization and our community have been truly inspiring.
Most recently, Adam was promoted to the rank of Sergeant, where he served in the Patrol Division. Prior to this role, Adam made significant contributions to the Criminal Investigations Division starting in 2017. As the department’s Digital Forensics Examiner, he played a key role in establishing and serving on the FBI Arkansas Child Exploitation & Human Trafficking Task Force, making a lasting impact in the fight against child exploitation. During this time, he assisted HSI, the Secret Service, and other federal, state, and local agencies on numerous cases, leading to successful prosecutions.
Adam has also been a steadfast leader, serving as the Bentonville PD’s Honor Guard Commander since 2021, representing our department with pride and professionalism.
Beyond his service to Bentonville, Adam is a proud U.S. Navy Veteran, serving from 2008 to 2012 as a Master-at-Arms. His commitment to serving our nation and our community spans over 16 years, and his contributions will not be forgotten.
We thank Adam for his unwavering dedication, his countless sacrifices, and for everything he has done for our department, the FOP, and the community we serve. We wish him nothing but success in all his future endeavors. You will be missed, Adam!
