Water for Good Transforming lives and sharing God's love through sustainable access to safe water, sanitation, and hygiene in the places that need it most.

About: Water for Good is a faith-based, non-profit organization committed to creating a future where no one dies from a preventable waterborne disease. In partnership with local churches and leaders, we help communities establish access to reliable water and critical sanitation and hygiene practices—ensuring sustainable change, empowered citizens, and healthy futures. Our work is crucial because t

he water crisis is unsustainable, impacting 703 million people who lack access to basic water services. Every two minutes, a child under the age of five dies from a preventable waterborne disease. When 1-in-12 people around the world lack reliable access to safe water and 1-in-5 lack access to a toilet, they also lack the opportunity to truly thrive. Women and children are particularly disadvantaged, often spending hours collecting water that may not even be safe to drink. It affects health, hinders education, perpetuates poverty, and deepens inequality. But together, we can be a source for change that ends the crisis so every child experiences safe water, a healthy community, and God's love.

Perspective changes everything. 🌍

For many of us, water is something we rarely think about. We turn on a faucet, fill a glass, and move on with the day.

But when you begin to understand how access to safe water impacts nearly every part of life, your perspective starts to shift. Water is connected to health, education, opportunity, dignity, and hope for the future.

This work reminds us that sustainable development is not about quick fixes or short-term wins. It’s about long-term partnership, listening well, and building solutions that allow communities to thrive for years to come. 💧

When a girl has the resources to manage her health with dignity, she doesn't just stay in school; she leads her class. When a woman has access to a private latrine and safe water, she doesn't just manage a cycle; she manages a business, a household, and a community without interruption.

What’s at stake on isn’t just hygiene; it’s the opportunity for millions of women to step fully into their God-given potential. For too long, a lack of basic infrastructure has acted as a silent ceiling. But when those barriers are broken down, we see the true potential of the women we serve.

When dignity is the foundation, the potential is limitless.

12 new boreholes. 4,000+ lives changed. 💧

This month, our teams in Ethiopia and the Central African Republic have been hard at work expanding safe water access to the communities that need it most.

In Ethiopia, seven new boreholes are nearing completion, set to provide clean water for over 1,800 community members and 1,200 students at a local primary school. Meanwhile, in CAR, five additional boreholes were successfully drilled as part of our ongoing partnership with charity: water.

Clean water is the foundation for health, education, and opportunity. We are proud to see these communities take a massive step toward a more sustainable future. 🌍

Not all water points are wells!

Each water point is designed to meet the specific needs of a community’s landscape and population.

Here is a list of the different systems we use to provide safe water across the Central African Republic, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Uganda, and Cambodia.

Your monthly donation is the answer to someone's prayer.

When you choose to give monthly, you’re providing the steady foundation our teams need to keep safe water flowing. It’s a beautiful way to practice consistent stewardship, making a tangible difference in the Central African Republic, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Uganda, and Cambodia every single day.

It’s not about the size of the gift; it’s about the heart behind the habit. By showing up month after month, you’re helping ensure that safe water, sanitation, and hygiene are a lasting blessing for these communities. Change that lasts - FOR GOOD.

The global fuel shortage is creating a critical barrier for water, sanitation, and hygiene operations across East and Central Africa. While funding and personnel are in place, logistical hurdles are preventing teams from reaching the communities they serve. ⛽

The impact varies by region but remains significant across the board:

🇪🇹 Ethiopia: Drilling operations have come to a standstill and field mobility has been reduced by up to 70%.
🇨🇫 Central African Republic: While fuel supply has stabilized through a new government agreement, a lack of cash liquidity makes it difficult to purchase the volumes needed.
🇹🇿 Tanzania: A 35% spike in fuel prices has driven up the cost of transport and construction materials for our projects in Shinyanga.
🇺🇬 Uganda: Fuel supply remains stable in Kampala, though rising costs are a burden.
🇰🇭 Cambodia: A 25-liter daily limit and high prices for fuel are impacting the use of heavy machinery and long-distance field travel.

When maintenance is delayed and new construction stops, the risk of waterborne diseases increases. However, our team remains vigilant and resilient! We are navigating these conditions with the hope that stabilized access will soon allow us to get back to work as usual.

Wishing a beautiful Mother's Day 🌷 to all the women who are a constant wellspring of love and support for those they care about.

We celebrate the Christ-like grace that flows through you, and we honor mothers around the world by working to lift the burden of unsafe water from their shoulders. 🤍

Mother’s Day is only three days away. 💐

If you are still searching for a gift to honor a mother in your life that, it's not too late.

In many parts of the world, motherhood includes the grueling task of collecting and carrying water for miles. By providing the gift of safe water, sanitation, and hygiene in honor of a special mom in your life, you lift that burden for another mother. 💧

After your donation is made, will send you a digital certificate so you can show her that her legacy of love is changing lives.

Show your love in action, the same way she always did for you.
