So often what we really, truly, deeply need is the opposite of what we give ourselves, because it’s the opposite of what we’ve been trained is okay.

Today, I had a loooong laundry lists of tasks to complete for home, business, and personal life. As per usual.

But I could feel tension in my body, weariness, my nervous system dysregulating as I pushed myself to do, complete, perform.

I chose to rest instead. I laid down to meditate for 30 minutes, which is a practice I consider co-regulating with Source, with the frequency of peace that comes from the divine.

Sometimes the most revolutionary act we can commit is… to not act at all. To just breathe, rest, and be.

Kitties already know this, fluffy little zen masters that they are. 🐈🧘🏽‍♀️🪷

There’s not much I try harder to do than hold the vision of a heavenly existence for every life form on the planet. It’s quite an audacious dream to indulge.

And sometimes I’m tired, because holding this vision for what the world COULD be means I’m less plugged into how the world IS and what’s needed to live within its structures. I’ve never been able to work a “normal” job, support conventional methods of schooling, eating, healthcare, etc etc.

I have one foot in the way things “are,” just enough to pay a few bills and show up for meetings, and my other foot in a fantasy world that hasn’t entirely materialized… but it’s beginning to, and will continue to. And it’s built almost entirely from within.

Wherever I’m not experiencing heaven in my external world, I’m not believing it in my internal world. As compelling as the stories of anguish, unworthiness, and struggle are (we’ve been telling them for millennia), at some point, if we want a different lived reality, we have to put down the story of brokenness and limitation and tell one of wholeness and possibility.

And to exercise such faith, we have to be willing to sound like raving lunatics.

I figure, we drive ourselves crazy either way—might as well do it for the most exalting cause the world’s ever known. 💖
