Benton County 4-H - Arkansas

Benton County 4-H - Arkansas Benton County 4-H is the youth development program of the University of Arkansas CES. There are currently 19 clubs in Benton County and over 500 members.

The Benton County 4-H Club Foundation is the nonprofit organization that provides financial and volunteer support to the Benton County 4-H Program. The 4-H Program teaches youth life skills through project work, leadership and community service. The Benton County 4-H Club Foundation is a 501C3 organization who supports the Benton County 4-H Program and Members. We provide scholarships to graduatin

g senior 4-H members, financial assistance for youth to attend county, state and national activities as well as volunteer to assist in other aspects of the 4-H program.

We are thrilled to partner with the American Heart Association - Arkansas to provide hands-only CPR education and outreach to our community!! Our Teen Leaders are trained and ready to share valuable information and allow you to practice using our CPR Training kit! Our goal is to share knowledge and skills with you to help increase the chance of survival should your family or friends experience a cardiac event. You will learn to recognize the signs of a cardiac event and bridge the gap to provide help between calling 911 and the arrival of EMTs.

This is not the full CPR certification. It is to provide awareness and education for free!

We have been asked again to provide animal displays at the Walmart shareholders event.

Our display date is Thursday, June 4th.

If you’d like to bring an animal project to display, let Johnny know by May 14 and what family members will be attending.
