Special Needs Athletic Program thanks the Benchmark Group for their generous donation of their time and money to our program!

Thank you all so much!

Your generosity makes what we do for our special needs athletes possible! You are a great group of people that put together a softball team to play against our Super Naturals! And then, you also donate money to our program!! You are all such a blessing. I know GOD has HIS hands all over your company and our program because only GOD, and Doug VanScoy, could put this together!

Again, we say thank you!

Hey Super Naturals fans and friends!

And just like that the 2026 softball season comes to a close!

Thank you First-Garfield for a great, fun game! You are the greatest for playing the Super Naturals every year! It really is a special time that our athletes look forward to each year!
The play on the field was not what I wanted or expected. It is almost like the Super Naturals misunderstand the game and try to misplay every ball, instead of trying to make the play! I can’t count all the errors we had. And probably 10 strike outs. Many base running errors too! I guess I should look at it as how good First-Garfield played tonight and they have a good , fun team, but I want our athletes to know they can belong on the same playing field as anyone. Tonight they made way too many mistakes, and they never corrected them. That was the disappointing part to me, they just didn’t care enough to get better. It was like a comedy, but I wasn’t laughing.

There were some bright spots too! We had some good swings at that ball! Jeff continues his hitting! Jeremy did a good job pitching and hitting. I will have to get out the score book to see how everyone did.

Thank you again First-Garfield! There were a lot of fun moments!
Check out our pics!

We had an exciting softball in Bentonville tonight with the Benchmark Group! The ebb and flow of the game was facinating. Each week I’m seeing a new Super Naturals team! Tonight was no exception.
Benchmark started the game with a quick 3 outs. The Super Naturals scored a quick 5 runs with just methodical hitting.
I could not have asked for a better beginning. Benchmark scored the next 11 runs over the course of 3 innings. I could not believe the Super Naturals could be so bad! Bad, after bad, after bad. And Benchmark could hardly look better! They just kept pouring it on! After a little talking to, and my prayer for lots of rain, the Super Naturals showed up again with 6 runs in the 4th. A leadoff home run by Jacob got the Super Naturals started. The inning ended after 6 runs, with a 2 run home run by Jeremy! Several clutch hits in this inning by the Super Naturals! I mean good solid hits. That tied the game up at 11.
In the top of the 5th, Benchmark scored a run to lead by 1, 12-11. Bottom of the 5th, the Super Naturals score 5 more runs with more clutch hitting, to give the Super Naturals the lead 16-12. Everyone hit the ball! Who are these guys, and where were they in the second and third innings? They sure showed up tonight when they needed too!
In the top of the 6th, Benchmark scored 3 more runs to get within a run at 15-16. The Super Naturals finally got the last put out to end the game! About as intense a game as we could ever have! Until our next one!! These games with the Benchmark Group are like this!
There were good times for both teams. And both had bad. Jeremy had his 1st home run of the season! Way to go Jeremy! It was the best hitting game of the season for the Super Naturals as a team. Individuals really came thru with hits when they needed to. These guys have so much ability and talent it is impressive. Just getting them to show it turns my hair gray!

Thank you Benchmark Group for playing with us again this year! You are the best! You bring the best out of our athletes. I love watching our athletes show you how good they can be. You give them the need to step up their game to play with you. Tonight, they did just that. Below are the team pics showing 2 tired, happy teams! Check out the smiles!!

Otherwise see you in 3 hrs!!@

Hey Super Naturals softball!
Our game this Thursday will be on field 8 at memorial park at 6:30 pm. We will welcome our friends from the Benchmark Group for another exciting game! These games almost always go down to the last at bat! It will be fun!

Check the weather on Thursday. It is supposed to be rainy all day. I don’t know if there will be enough to close down turf fields or not! I will try to update everyone on our page with the latest info on the game well before we are to play! I don’t want anyone driving to the field just to find out we are not playing! Jim from the Benchmark Group is going to see what date will work the best for a makeup game if necessary. So stay tuned!!

Our game with First-Garfield was about the best game I have watched from the Super Naturals! 13 team mates played well. We had issues, but the effort from 13 guys was there! I was amazed! First Garfield played well, it was just our guys had an answer for everything! All of our guys had good at bats! When we made a mistake, we made the next play. Lots of key hits too! 3 or 4 times our athletes had 2 bad strikes and then got a good hit! Jacob had our first home run of the season! Wow!
I think the people from First-Garfield had the same feelings! They are always good people, and they were cheering on our athletes too!
Thank you to First-Garfield for playing us! You made our athletes work and tonight it worked for good! And then there was Brittney! She had a double and a foul catch for an out! I think it was her best hit and catch ever!

Next week the Super Naturals have the Benchmark Group! That will be a fun game too! Then we have our last regular season game with First-Garfield! We know that will be a great game!

I think tonight everything is great!!!

We had another good, fun softball game at memorial park in Bentonville tonight! The Super Naturals and the Benchmark Group! The first part of the game was rain! Which made the turf field wet for the rest of the game. Which made good hitting harder. The ball was wet. Both teams suffered hitting a wet ball.
The Super Naturals defense was much different tonight, but just as effective. We did not catch fly ball outs, but made put outs on the bases an art! We even had 2 double plays! All three of our pitchers did much better tonight. They got their warrior face on! Our batting was led by our partners. They did a much better job tonight. The athletes were led by Jeff! They all need to go up to that plate with hitting on their minds and not fear.

Thank you BENCHMARK GROUP for playing on this hot muggy wet night! We appreciate what you have meant to our athletes and our program!
