Our troop had the honor of performing the Flag Ceremony and leading the Pledge of Allegiance at the Adult Recreation Center during the city's Salute to Service Celebration, dedicated to honoring our local veterans. The Arkansas National Guard was also present and engaged. They brought the flags and honored the veterans with commemorative coins. It was a very meaningful event.

Northern Tier 2026

These scouts and adult leaders had the time of their lives on the Boundary Waters. It's no wonder our boys thrive and grow into remarkable young men. Each of these experiences contributes to a life that is moral, productive, and fulfilling.

The Natural State Council is saddened to hear of the passing of retired 12th Circuit Court Judge Jim Spears. Judge Spears was a Silver Beaver recipient, a proud supporter of Scouting, and someone who deeply cared about his community and young people.

It was especially meaningful to see his grandsons earn the rank of Eagle Scout just last month.

Please keep the Spears family in your thoughts and prayers.

Heart of the Eagle Banquets

We’re so proud of our Scouts. You did a fantastic work showcasing Scouting and Troop 36 at the district fundraisers. These young men made such a strong impression at the Cornerstone District event that they were invited to speak at the Razorback District banquet just two weeks later.
