Please remember Haiti today..this was the worst time..during all the violence and unrest that this happened. With limited resources because of inflation...many ministries and missionaries that had left the country due to violence and the gangs that had blocked roads, stolen medical supplies and even had kidnapped medical personnel that traveled to their country to help the people...despite all that the people in those surrounding communities came together to help save lives and take in the homeless and treat the injured. We, at AFDC, are proud to be affiliated with www.HaitiOne.org ministries. They were FABULOUS in their responses, care, communications and coordination of their humanitarian aid. PRAY FOR HAITI..pray they keep their trust and faith that GOD IS with them and ..."My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways, declares the LORD." (Isaiah 55:8)...........August 14, 2022 One year since a magnitude 7.2 earthquake hit the Southern region of . What causes; 🔘 2248 people lost their lives 🔘 12763 others injured 🔘 53815 houses destroyed and 83770 others damaged ☑️ more than 690 000 people affected, which represents 40% of the population of the Great South.

HaitiOne seeks to be more effective in bringing positive change to Haiti, as we resource each other’s strengths and expand our impact together.

I would like all of you to meet Shilove. We sent her to the hospital last year after a fall to have an exposed rod replaced in her leg that she had broken when she was younger. The bone did not fuse correctly and now has bone infection and needs another surgery and probable bone graft. We know that our economy is very challenging for everyone, but we are asking for your help in helping us support her through this second surgery. This will be taking place in Haiti, different hospital and different surgeon. We are optimistic in her chances of running and playing with her friends again. If you are able to help, please send a check to:

Thank you so much for your consideration in this. We, at AFDC, have not been able to travel to Haiti for the past 3 years and do not know when we will be able to. We do continue to support people in Haiti with food…school needs and medical needs. We have a guest house being built that is on hold for the time being. We trust the Lord and that HE is preparing the way for us to return sometime soon. At that time there will be an abundance of needs: medically…spiritually…and nutritionally.

It was such a blessing to have served in that area.  We accomplished a lot and learned a lot as well.  Working in a foreign country you are challenged with the different cultural traditions and beliefs of the community.  While we were involved in much progress in that area to improve some of thei...

We at AFDC have been so disappointed with not being able to return to Haiti for so many reasons over the past few years....riots...kidnappings..killings...COVID...and now financial barriers making it harder to send funds...raise funds..and making it more difficult for the Haitian economy to improve (not being good anyway for many years). Many US non-profits are struggling..many missionaries have left and are finding it difficult to return, many in-country organizations are struggling. We need to pray...pray...pray..for Haiti. Such a beautiful country..and beautiful people...many with more humble hearts than in our own country because they live in persecution daily.
The people in Haiti have taught me more about mercy, grace, and gratitude than most in my own country. It disappoints me to read our headlines of how Americans have been acting...but I can tell you that if I were to go to Haiti and work with the people I have worked with...they would welcome me and serve me more than I can show them because they are grateful for what they do have when they have nothing but God to depend on. Both countries need a revival!!! Please pray for AFDC...for direction and the financial means to continue to send support. We send funds to help feed and clothe people and help children go to school. We are praying for the best opportunity to go back...complete a guest house and offer jobs to the Haitian people. A guest house is the best pathway..we feel...to bring others in to serve and be the vessels needed for the Gospel of Christ and to serve others as God commands us to do.
