🪻Confirmation -was the word that I was told yesterday many times, after our luncheon ended by a few women in attendance.

What an incredible reminder that our identity is not in our titles, our accomplishments or achievements, but in who God created and who he is.
We’ve been called into spaces every day to bring forth our gifts and what we can contribute.

It is not about proving yourself, but walking in full confidence for who you and what you are carrying.

Even when fear creeps in, even when others may say otherwise, decide before you walk in : Believe that and trust that!

More importantly remember God has walked ahead of you… 💛

🌳 Collaboration: Leaning, But Still Standing

I keep coming back to this tree.

It’s leaning.
It’s weathered.
It has clearly faced its share of storms.

And yet… it’s still standing.

But look at what happens when we think about collaboration.

The tree doesn’t have to stand perfectly straight to have value. It doesn’t have to look like every other tree. It simply needs strong roots—and the space and support to keep growing.

That’s what collaboration can look like.

Sometimes we lean on one another.
Sometimes we carry more because someone else is struggling.
Sometimes someone else’s strength helps us remain standing when our own strength feels depleted.

Collaboration isn’t about everyone bringing the same gifts, the same perspective, or the same strengths.

It’s about bringing what you have and recognizing that together, we can accomplish more than we ever could alone.

We were never designed to do everything by ourselves.

A tree can stand alone.
But a forest?
A forest creates shelter, protection, growth, and life.

🌳 Strong roots. Different branches. One purpose.

That’s collaboration.

And sometimes, the people who look like they’re leaning the most are the ones who have learned how to keep standing.

✨One of the biggest takeaways at our table this past luncheon was centered on experiencing “competeting” business representatives and how they do it with mutual respect and support of each other.

Living in a community where everyone knows most everyone, the goal is to create collaboration and genuine connections.
