Tip #2: Know the Basics!

Being informed is key to making your voice heard! Here are a few important things to keep in mind:

✅ Know your key election dates.

✅ In Arkansas, early voting begins October 19th and ends at 5 p.m. on November 2nd.

✅ Find the early voting location nearest you.

📸 Legislative Committee Challenge: Show Us Your Voting Pride!

When you vote, share a photo and tag us! Let’s celebrate participation and encourage one another to make our voices heard. Snap a picture with your “I Voted” sticker or at your polling place, and join the challenge! Remember to keep your ballot selections private.

Make a plan to vote, share the excitement, and help spread the word!

📣📣Run It!

What an exciting opportunity for our children to learn how they can make a difference in their communities! 🩷💙

Through the Campaign History Walk, an engaging panel discussion, and a hands-on learning lab, our Jacks and Jills had the opportunity to learn, ask questions, express their creativity, and explore ways to become changemakers.

As Election Day approaches, our Northwest Arkansas Chapter's Legislative Committee is sharing helpful voting tips to keep our community informed, prepared, and ready to participate!

Tip #1: Make Sure You Are Registered!

✅ ️The first step is the most important. Check your voter registration status to make sure you are all set before Election Day. Every vote counts, and it starts with being registered!

💡 Have a teen at home who will be 18 by the next general election? Eligible teens can get a head start by preregistering to vote in Arkansas!

Service in Action! 🩷💙

Our NWA Chapter donated and assembled 30 shelf-stable meal bags, including more than 150 food items, along with recipes to help families easily prepare complete meals at home.

Thank you to our Community Service Chair, Kirstie Barnes-Sims, for organizing this effort and to all of our mothers and families who contributed and helped deliver the donations to the Samaritan Community Center. 💕

Today, the Northwest Arkansas Chapter honors the life and legacy of Carole Robertson, a young member of Jack and Jill of America, Inc., and remembers Denise McNair, Addie Mae Collins, and Cynthia Wesley, whose lives were also taken in the bombing of the 16th Street Baptist Church on September 15, 1963.

As Jack and Jill families, we carry Carole’s memory with us. We remember four girls whose lives, dreams, and futures mattered, and we honor them through how we serve our communities, teach our children, and continue the work toward a more just and equitable future.

Today, we remember their names. We honor their lives. And we carry their legacy forward.

As we celebrate Juneteenth, we remember that freedom was not a finish line — it was a beginning.

We honor our ancestors by continuing the work: breaking down walls, setting the pace, and carrying forward the blueprint for progress and liberation.

Happy Juneteenth!💚💛❤️

Our teens at the 2026 Teen Leadership Conference soaked up so much knowledge while making a real impact! One of the highlights was the community service project with the Boys & Girls Club of Little Rock.

The energy from the Foundation Rally was incredible as children and teens worked side by side to design and build their own flotation devices—putting their new understanding of positive, neutral, and negative buoyancy into action!

To top it all off, an amazing surprise helped close out the rally: each child received a $100 gift card, a life safety swim bag, AND the Boys & Girls Club was awarded a $40,000 grant!
