It’s looking like another beautiful day out today - may we suggest spending some time exploring right here in our own back yard with those special dads today?!

We did yesterday and had a great day - enjoyed an Ocoee burger at Copperhill Sahara Club, stopped by the 5-year anniversary celebration at Copperhill Brewery, and finished off with an ice cream from Happy Bear Ice Cream & Treats. By the way, have you seen the new welcome banners in downtown Copperhill - great job City of Copperhill and Discover Copper Basin!!

Let’s go have a fantabulous day!!

IT'S HERE! Stone's Peaches & Cream Corn has arrived at Cottons Service Station in downtown Benton - $8/dozen!

If you've been waiting all year for that sweet, fresh-picked summer corn, now's your chance. Darlene will be set up daily through next weekend -- or until it's gone.

And if you know, you know . . . this corn doesn't stick around for long! Folks come early, and it tends to sell out fast, so don't wait until the last minute.

Swing by Cotton's, grab some fresh Peaches & Cream Corn, and taste one of summer's best traditions while it lasts!

We were proud to award five scholarships to outstanding graduates from the Class of 2026 this year. Our scholarship program gives preference to students who plan to return to Polk County and invest their education, talents, and future back into our local communities.

Congratulations to Abi Moorhouse and Rymer Hood, recipients from Polk County High School, along with Emily Mundy, Angela Graves, and Raegan Farner from Copper Basin High School -- all receiving Chamber scholarships this year! We also recognized our 2025 Student Diplomat Timothy Kibble for his service and involvement with a token of appreciation.

We appreciate the ongoing support of our members who graciously continue to sponsor the annual scholarship program - Ocoee Dam Deli & Diner, Lake Ocoee Inn & Marina Inc, and Ocoee Inn Rafting. A special thank you, as well, to St. Mark's Episcopal Church Copperhill, TN for an additional donation this year that allowed us to provide a third scholarship at Copper Basin!
