We have just two and a half more weeks to apply for Winter Crisis. Please make sure to have all your paperwork when applying. This includes address verification, proof of the previous months household income, documentation that shows home energy cost responsibility, number of people in the home, SS card or other verification. You must be within disconnect timeframe for the crisis benefit. If you have any questions please reach out to our main office 270-247-4046 or your county office.

About New To You Thrift Shop/Third Place Ministries

Third Place Ministries is the cooperative ministries of the 13 United Methodist Churches in Marshall County. Come shop in our clean, organized thrift store, New To You Shop at 17 Cope Road, Benton, where you’ll find tons of amazing bargains on clothing and shoes for the whole family, household and home decor items, and much more. In addition to ministries with children and youth, we help families in crisis with past-due utility bills, gas vouchers to get to a medical appointment, clothing vouchers to get children back to school, and several other “crisis” needs. Assistance is handled at our New To You Shop. Pick up an application, take it home and complete it, then return it in person or by mail. All applications will be reviewed and applicants will be notified by phone of actions taken. (This process may take several days.) This is made possible through store proceeds and by donations from churches and individuals in our community. We thank you for your support!
