The Red Brick Church ladies have been helping Rita and Connor at the Museum in the Park reach their goal of having the bell tower painted by Memorial Day. The bell tower, originally from the old Leadmine School, was donated by the Frieda Wright family. The Museum will be open this weekend. Check for times. There is a lot to see inside that building.

We are getting our cemetery ready for Memorial Day with the help of these two great guys from Benton High School - Nolan Keleher and Sam Klang. They hauled and spread many bags of mulch lickedly split and were done in no time Thank you

Our Renaissance Man (talent across numerous fields) Dan, is back working at the church. He has taken on the challenge of tearing out old boards, putting in insulation and replacing the boards in the foyer. When this project is completed, all the walls in the church, foyer and hall will be completed

Every year the Red Brick Church ladies pick a community project to help with - our way of giving back to a community that has been so supportive of our restoration project. This year we are helping Rita and Connor McCarthy with painting the bell tower and transplanting flowers at the Museum in the park. It will be completed by Memorial Day. The Museum will be open at times over that holiday weekend. We hope you can stop by and look through the exhibits that Rita and Connor have worked so hard to complete.

Thank you to the Benton VFW and the Cuba City Merry Mixers 4-H out of Benton for putting out the flags in all 3 Benton cemeteries over the weekend. Our cemetery always looks the best when we honor our vets with flags.

We will be working this Saturday May 9 from 10:00 to 5:00 to clean up the cemetery. Please join us if you can

Spring is in the air and we can’t wait to get to work at the Red Brick Church. Our annual spring clean up is planned for Saturday May 9 starting at 10:00. All who would like to help are welcome. Come for an hour, come for 3, we’d love to see you.
