Drop off your pet photo to the Community Center front desk with your name and phone number along with the pet's name for consideration before noon on November 25th.

Each vote is $1.00 at the Benton Borough Winterfest which will be held in the Benton Park on Saturday, December 7th from 10 am - 3 pm.

PS. Did you know you can take your phone to Vine Pharmacy, LLC and print out a photo?

Reminder that The Benton Women's Club will meet at the NCCCC's at 5:30 tonight. We plan on carpooling to Bloomsburg. Please bring your own beverage. We will also try to squeeze in a quick meeting about Winterfest.

The response was overwhelming last year so, once again, The Benton Women's Club will present our "Cutest Pet" contest!
Drop off a photo of your pet with your name, the pets name & your phone number on the back. The NCCCC'S has an envelope at the front desk for your entry.
Folks will vote ($1.00 per vote) for your pet at Winterfest.
All entries must be in by noon on Monday, November 25th.

Some photos from last Thursday's Benton Women's Club meeting. Guest speaker was Barb Edelstein from the Benton Antiques shops. She shared how her business began, some apps to use, what's popular. Lots of fun. Georgia won the gift basket!!

The weeks seem to be flying by and Fall is knocking on our doors!
I hope you have enjoyed the beautiful weather this week and are thinking ahead to our next meeting which is Thursday, September 12 at N4Cs, 6:00 pm.

Our speaker will be Barbara Edelstein, the owner of our antique shops in Benton. She is an interesting person who should be able to answer any questions you may have regarding antiques.

We will have many things to discuss and according to my notes Michele will be bringing the refreshments.

So please plan to attend and bring a friend along!

I found this to be a great idea!

Make Garden Tools More Comfortable:

Although you love spending time in your garden, the tools can leave your hands sore. Make them easier to hold by wrapping handles with a couple of layers of rubber shelf liner. Then seal at the ends and sides with duct tape! The handles will be softer to the touch and more comfortable while you tend to your plants!
