Berrien, Cass, Van Buren facility in Benton Harbor, the Bridge Academy of Southwest Michigan brings a variety of additional resources and support to our students. It’s part of what makes our public school academy unique. Bridge Academy can be many things to many students without sacrificing quality in the fulfillment of the Michigan Merit Curriculum (“MMC”) and post-secondary options. Our Approach:
The Academy welcomes every student into a place where meaningful learning begins with understanding the student as a “whole.” We are focused on meeting each individual where they are. We remove barriers to success and help our students become the best version of themselves through education and employment. You can count on our team to provide an organized, efficient and safe educational option for high school completion and career exploration.

✨Happy Feel Good Friday! ✨

Today, we're celebrating Jaida, a remarkable Bridge Academy of Southwest Michigan student and Youth Leadership Award recipient, as she begins her first official work-based learning experience at a local daycare and learning center! 🎉

Throughout the year, Jaida has shown outstanding dedication to the Jobs for Michigan's Graduates Program, her education, and her future career goals. Her positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to personal growth have made her a role model among her peers.

Pictured with Jaida is her Success Coach, Ashonti. Our Success Coaches walk alongside students every step of the way, helping them achieve important milestones like this one. We are incredibly proud of all Jaida has accomplished and excited to see her take this important step toward her future.

Our Bridge Academy of Southwest Michigan student, Kennedie, has demonstrated tremendous maturity and commitment in the classroom. She consistently puts forth her best effort, stays focused on her classwork, and is emerging as a positive leader among her peers! 👏

Outside of school, Kennedie works at a childcare center where she continues to shine. Her employer shared that she has a strong work ethic, which is a testament to her dedication and professionalism. ⏰ With perfect attendance at work and a reputation for being punctual and dependable, she exemplifies responsibility both in and out of the classroom.
