Some dogs wait a little longer for their forever home not because they have less love to give, but because they need the right fit.

Dogs who need to be the only pet in the home are often overlooked, yet they deserve the same chance at love, safety, and belonging as any other dog. They are not “too much” or “too difficult” they simply thrive best when they can be the center of their family’s world.

Layla and Sakti have been waiting far too long for that special person to see them for who they truly are. Day after day, they continue to hope for a home of their own, a soft place to rest, and a family who will choose them wholeheartedly.

Their perfect home is still out there one filled with patience, understanding, adventure, and unconditional love. After spending so much time waiting, these two deserving souls are more than ready to trade shelter days for couch cuddles, walks, and a lifetime of loyalty.

Please remember rescue doesn’t end at save. Sometimes the dogs who wait the longest are the ones who love the deepest.

Both Layla and Sakti’s adoption fee is $300 for the month of June.

That’s how long Layla has been waiting for someone to see just how special she is.

For 891 days, this incredible girl has watched other dogs find their forever families while she continues to wait for hers. Through it all, Layla has never stopped loving people, never stopped hoping, and never stopped being the amazing dog she is.

Layla is ready for her next adventure a home of her own, a family to call hers, and a couch where she can finally rest knowing she’s home forever. She loves being with her people, making memories, and soaking up every moment of life. All she asks is to be your one and only dog.

💔 UPDATE 6/5 @ 4:45pm: TACO HAS BEEN FOUND 💔

It is with heavy hearts that we share that Taco has been found, and sadly, she did not make it home.

We are devastated by this outcome and know many of you were hoping and praying for a different ending. Taco was loved, and this loss is heartbreaking for her foster, the rescue, and those who knew her and cared for her.

We want to sincerely thank our community for sharing her post, keeping watch, reporting sightings, searching, and offering support over the past several days. Your kindness and willingness to help meant more than we can express.

At this time, we ask for compassion for her foster and for those closest to Taco as they process this loss.

🚨 URGENT: MISSING FOSTER DOG – TACO 🚨

Please help us bring Taco home!

Taco went missing from her foster home in Richland, Wa near Columbia Basin Pediatrics. Keene Rd. and Westcliffe Blvd. and has not been seen for 2 days . As a newer foster dog, she is not microchipped.
🐾 Name: Taco
🐾 Friendly with people and other dogs
🐾 Please use caution around small dogs and other animals
🐾 Not wearing a collar when she went missing
If you see Taco, please contact us immediately with her location. If possible, take a photo and note the direction she is traveling. While she is friendly, a dog who is lost may not respond as expected, so avoid chasing her if she appears nervous or starts moving away.
Please check your yards, under porches, in garages, sheds, and any other places a dog may seek shelter. Every sighting helps us narrow down where she may be.

We are very concerned for Taco’s safety and would greatly appreciate everyone sharing this post to help us bring her home safely.
