Benton City Spring Opener Car & Bike Show Spring Opener Car & Bike Show is held the last Saturday of April every year at Ki-Be Middle School. More info, visit our web site, www.bcspringopener.com

One of the nicest shows anywhere around, the cars are all parked on grass and the bikes on blacktop. The show is open to all makes and models of cars and trucks, motorcycles, tractors and other farm equipment, kids' wheels (motorized and non-motorized), and other automotive vehicles.

The BC Spring Opener committee is pleased to announce the beneficiaries for this year. Proceeds of the 2016 show will help to fund equipment, supplies, and other needed items for Benton City's Early Childhood Education & Assistance Program (ECEAP preschool), Ki-Be FFA, and Ki-Be High School wood shop. Thank you everybody for supporting our show so we can help support these programs for our kids!

Yay! The sun is shining, and it's a fine day to come check out all the marvelous cars and other vehicles on display, quite a few of them new to our show this year. Still time to come and cast your votes for Peoples' Choice and Kids' Choice awards!

Thank you to Tri-Cities Battalion Sea Cadets for raising the flag at our show, and thank you to Victoria Heninger for another wonderful a capella rendition of our national anthem. Also special thanks to American Legion Post 115 for putting up all the American flags through town.

It may be cool and gray but the air is calm, not even a breeze, and the sun is doing its best to make an appearance at our show today. It's a fine day in Benton City, still plenty of time to come on out and enjoy our show. Still accepting entries at the registration gate on Fay Avenue, if you've been wavering it's not too late to put your ride on display!
