*Benson Hospital/TMC Health is offering free Sports Physicals in the high school office

As we gear up for our annual Back to School Fair, we're so grateful for the community support we've already received but we are not quite there yet!

We're still in need of the following supplies:

*125 markers (standard & thick)
*300 dry-erase markers
*125 college ruled paper
*225 student scissors

Every donation brings us one step closer to making sure local students are set up for success this school year. Please send us a message to host a table at the fair or to make a supply donation.

To our incredible Benson community members and sponsors, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your unwavering support of this year’s Christmas Assistance Program. Your generosity, kindness, and willingness to come together allowed us to help create a Merry Christmas for 61 families and 161 children! We are deeply grateful for every act of support, big or small, and are truly blessed to be a part of such a caring community. We look forward to continuing to serve our community in 2025 and wish everyone a Happy New Year!

If you applied for the Christmas Assistance Program affiliated with Hope for Kids, Junior Woman’s Club & Walmart of Benson, pick up is this morning, 9am-11am at Benson Walmart Garden Center.

The Head of Household listed on the application must be present. Eligible applicants received both text messages and phone calls with the pick up details.

It’s Giving Tuesday and Hope for Kids, Inc invites you to join us in making a meaningful impact for our local Benson community.

Historically Hope for Kids, Inc is responsible for the annual Back to School Fair. HFK provides a backpack to each child and Benson’s generous local businesses and community partners distribute school supplies. This effort serves approximately 225 students each year.

This holiday season we’ve collaborated with Junior Woman’s Club and Walmart of Benson to ensure that assistance that was previously administered by TWO different Christmas programs continue so we can provide a magical holiday to our local children and their families. We will be serving at least 50 families and 120+ children this year!

The Giving Tree, located just inside the entrance of Walmart, still has tags left for anyone who wants to help fulfill a child of our community’s Christmas Wish list. Gifts are due on December 8th. Please be sure to turn in gifts & tag at the Walmart Customer Service desk as soon as possible.

Thank you to all of the amazing, generous and supportive individuals who have supported these efforts so far. Hope for Kids, Junior Woman’s Club and Walmart of Benson could not fulfill over 120 children’s Christmas wishes without you.
