Fall is finding its way to Mercy Ecology! 🍂

The leaves are beginning to turn, the light is softening, and the paths are waiting to be wandered.

Come seek a little quiet.
Come explore the land.
Come notice what is growing, changing, and letting go.

There is always something to discover here - a winding path, a familiar tree, a glimpse of the sanctuary through the branches, or simply a moment to breathe a little deeper.

Mercy Ecology is waiting for you…
Come wander awhile!🌿

What the earth gives, we are invited to share. 🌱

As the season begins its gentle turning toward rest, our garden still has a little more to offer. We’re making one last big push at our FREE stand - an invitation to pause, receive, and carry a bit of this place home with you! 🍅

Stop by and take your pick! ✨🌶️

Happy Mercy Day! 💜

Today, we celebrate the legacy of Catherine McAuley and the Sisters of Mercy, whose call to compassion, hospitality, justice, and care for one another continues to ripple outward.

We give thanks for the Sisters whose vision and faithful tending shaped this sacred space - and for the continued gift of Mercy that we are so blessed to share through this work, this land, and this community.

May we continue to carry that spirit forward: tending what has been entrusted to us, dignifying all life, and making room for mercy to take root and grow!

Happy Mercy Day from all of us at Mercy Ecology! 🌿

“The separation of these three problems is artificial,” he wrote in 1970. “They have the same cause, and that is the mentality of greed and exploitation.”

Sometimes we don’t realize how far we’ve wandered from the natural world until we finally step outside and breathe a little deeper!

The trees are still here.
The birds are still singing.
Something is always growing, changing, becoming.

Nature doesn’t ask us to arrive with answers. It simply invites us to slow down—to notice, to listen, to remember that we are not separate from this living world, but woven into it.

Maybe healing begins there.

Not in fixing everything, but in finding our way back to relationship - with the earth, with ourselves, and with the sacredness of being alive!

🌿 What helps you find your way back to nature?

When their green tops bow toward the earth, they’re reminding us that another season of abundance is unfolding! 🧅

Our first harvests have begun - fresh lettuce, broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini, summer squash, and kale are ready to enjoy. Soon, onions, sweet corn, and sun-warmed tomatoes will follow. Every day, the garden offers something new, a gentle reminder that growth asks for patience and abundance arrives in its own time!

This is only the beginning!

Come visit MEC, wander the gardens, and savor the first harvests of the season. We would love to share the fruits of this sacred little corner of the earth with you! 🌿💚
