A little late, perhaps - but some things are worth returning to! πŸ’œ

Back in May, Kayla and Amanda joined Team Mercy for Vermont’s annual COTS Walk. Amid the busyness of the season, this moment waited patiently for us.

What a gift it was to gather in a crowd moving toward the same hope: that everyone might have a place to belong, to rest, to call home! Thank you COTS VT, Team Mercy, & all who gathered for such a beautiful cause.

In a world that often asks us to move faster, nature journaling invites us to slow down! To notice the curve of a leaf, the song of a bird, the shifting colors of the seasons, and the quiet stories unfolding all around us.

Join us for a seasonal journey of observation, curiosity, and connection as we learn to encounter the Earth not as spectators, but as participants in its living story. πŸ‚πŸŒ±

Through sketching, reflection, and mindful observation, we’ll practice the sacred art of seeing.

Tomorrow, we welcome five new hearts to the land.

For the next six weeks, Aus, Anifa, Abi, Claire, and Izzy will join us as the 5th cohort of Mercy Volunteer Corps volunteers - immersing themselves in the sacred work of tending heart, hands, and soil.

Together, we’ll plant, learn, listen, serve, and discover what happens when we slow down long enough to be shaped by community and the living world around us.

The land is ready. The gardens are waiting. And we cannot wait to welcome you home!

Join us in wishing these incredible volunteers blessings, growth, and adventure as they begin this new chapter. Welcome to the MVC & MEC families!

The earth has always understood what we are still learning: diversity is not something to fear, but something sacred to tend. Forests grow in difference. Gardens bloom in variety. No two leaves reach toward light in quite the same way, and still, all belong! 🌈🌱

At Mercy Ecospirituality Center, we believe our call is to cultivate spaces of dignity, welcome, and deep belonging - to tend lives with care and reflect the inclusive love and abundant justice to which we are all called. 🌈

This Pride Month, we celebrate the sacred belovedness of LGBTQ+ people and the beauty of becoming fully ourselves. Explore the Love & Abundant Justice resource page from the Sisters of Mercy - link in bio!

What a joy and blessing it has been to welcome 9 beautiful souls from Gwynedd Mercy University into the rhythms of MEC 🌱✨

Together, we placed our hands in the soil - transforming raised beds, planting, nourishing, and simply remembering: when we care for the earth, it so gently gives back to us. Between long days outside and the quiet blessing of rain, we gathered indoors to watch The Biggest Little Farm, learn about Catherine McAuley, and reflect on our place within this beautiful web of life!

Thank you, GMercyU, for your willingness, determination, laughter, and generous hearts. It was an honor to behold each of you in all of your becoming and to witness the care you poured into this land and community.

Always together in Mercy! 🐝

A few snapshots from past visits with the students of Gwynedd University! πŸŒΏπŸ’š

This Sunday, we get to welcome this beautiful community back to for another week of service, reflection, connection, and muddy-boot memories! 🌷

We’re counting down the days until the laughter fills the farmhouse again and new memories begin to take root. See you soon, Gwynedd! ✨

And now… we plant! πŸ§…πŸŒ±
After all the tending, marking, and care- these small beginnings find their place in the soil.
A quiet kind of joy (and a very not-quiet Amanda 🀣)
Follow along as roots take hold and something beautiful begins!
