🥫 Our challenge to you this week: Let’s fill these empty soup shelves!

Soup has been on our needs list for weeks, with not much progress. It’s an easy, quick meal for our pantry families—often packed with meat and vegetables and requiring very little thought or preparation.

If you’re grocery shopping this week, grab an extra can or two and help us fill these shelves!

Each week this summer vegetable season, Doug and Teri call to see what the pantry is low on and ask what they can share from their garden.

Sometimes, they even make the trip to deliver twice a week!

But more than the fresh vegetables they bring, Doug and Teri are simply two of the kindest, sweetest people. We are so grateful for their generous hearts and the care they show our pantry and community.

🥚 This week, our pantry won’t need to buy fresh eggs! One of our frequent egg donors blessed us with another HUGE donation!

Fresh eggs are such a wonderful gift to the families we serve—and the caring heart behind them is even better.

🎒Backpacks, school supplies, and a whole lot of heart!

A huge thank-you to the Badger Buddies 4-H Club for collecting, stuffing, and donating backpacks filled with school supplies to the Bennington Community Food Pantry! We’re so grateful for this group of young people who saw a need in their community and stepped up to help.

Badger Buddies is a local 4-H club that meets right here in Bennington and participates in Washington County 4-H. Through 4-H, youth ages 5–18 learn by doing, build leadership skills, serve their communities, and make a difference—and these kids are a wonderful example of that in action!

Thank you, Badger Buddies, for helping local kids head back to school feeling a little more prepared and a lot more supported! ✏️

Hope 402 offers no-questions-asked food pantry assistance to households in:

We offer pickup or delivery and provide approximately 3 days of supplemental groceries, based on household size, dietary needs, and what we currently have available in our pantry.

When you reach out, the only information we’ll ask for is:

💙 Any food allergies
💙 Your address — for delivery
💙 Your ZIP code — for pickup

No income verification. No paperwork. No judgment.
