At our last giving event, our members cast their votes and Bennington TeamMates was chosen as our recipient!

✨ We are SO proud to announce that 100 Women Who Care Bennington presented Teammates of Bennington with a check for $4,600! ✨

That’s the power of women coming together with one goal, making a real difference right here in our community💙!

🎉 AND THE VOTES ARE IN! 🎉

Last night at our Spring Giving Event, 100 Women Who Care Bennington came together and your voices chose our recipient…..
Bennington TeamMates!!!

TeamMates is a school-based mentoring program that pairs students in grades 3–12 with caring adults from our very own community. The Bennington chapter was established in 2014 when administrators and counselors in our district recognized a growing need for this type of program, and it has been making a difference ever since.

The numbers speak for themselves: consistent mentoring has led to a 58% increase in academic performance, 85% fewer disciplinary referrals, and 78% fewer unexcused absences, all from the simple, powerful act of one adult showing up for one kid, week after week.

The Bennington chapter currently serves 100 mentor/mentee matches and was even named the National TeamMates Chapter of the Year in 2023!

💙This is what 100 Women Who Care Bennington is all about!

Yesterday, we had the honor of presenting our quarterly donation check to Bennington Community Theatre !! Seeing local dollars go directly to a local nonprofit is exactly why we do what we do.

And the celebration didn’t stop there, Bennington Community Theatre also held their ribbon cutting! We are so thrilled to support an organization bringing art, culture, and community together right here in Bennington.
Congratulations to the entire Bennington Community Theatre team, we can’t wait to see everything you create!
