Bennington Summer Meal Programs aims to serve FREE 'Grab-&-Go' lunches to the youth in the Bennington community, ensuring that children remain nourished, healthy, and ready to learn when they return to school in the fall!

Bennington Summer Meal Program will resume serving meals TODAY!!!!

See you at the school from 11:30am-12:00pm! ☀️🍽️

Bennington Community,

Unfortunately, the school building remains without power as of this evening. As a result, our frozen meals have spoiled, and we are currently unable to access the remainder of our food supply.

Please know that we are working diligently to find a solution, replenish our frozen meal inventory, and continue serving our families throughout the summer. We will provide updates here as soon as more information becomes available.

In the meantime, Ottawa County Emergency Management will be providing sack lunches at Bennington City Hall (Nelson St. & W. Washington St.) beginning at 12:40 p.m.

We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience. We encourage families to take advantage of the other wonderful resources and services available throughout our community while we work to restore our program.

☀️🕶️Stocked up and ready with a carload of delicious, kid-friendly, and FREE meals ready for you and your family this summer! 🥪🍎

The Bennington Summer Meal Program begins TOMORROW from 11:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m. at the old high school entrance! Look for our big, colorful sign and stop by to pick up what you need.

We’ll be offering Grab & Go lunches, canned goods, and boxed dinner items. Be sure to check out Bulldog Basic while you're here for additional essentials!

We can’t wait to serve our community and help make summer a little brighter—one meal at a time. See you tomorrow! 🩷
