Vermont Emergency Medical Services (EMS) District #12 is situated in the foothills of Green Mountains in the Southwest corner of the State. District #12 includes Arlington Rescue Bennington Rescue, Pownal Rescue, Manchester Rescue, Stamford Fire/Rescue, East Dover First Response, Winhall Police/Rescue Dept., Mt. Vermont EMS District Board comprised of a representative from each organization. Overs

eeing the squads is the District 12 Medical Advisor, a physician whose responsibility is to see that protocols and the delivery of emergency medical care is provided at an acceptable level.
