The Lammers Family Christmas (Formerly: Christmas on U street) is an animated Christmas display in the Sunridge Neighborhood. LOTS AND LOTS of lights!!!!!
Each year we add more features, songs, channels and Lights. Beginning in 2010 we started taking donations for Make-A-Wish Foundation of Nebraska. 100% of the donations we collect go to them. I choose Make-A-Wish because I love the look I get from Kids who watch my light show and It just made sense to work with an organization that also works to make kids happy.

Sorry for anyone that came by earlier tonight. We had an evil rabbit chew through a cable causing the big tree and a few other elements to not work.
All is fixed now minus another bad pixel I found on the icicles but that will have to wait for daylight tomorrow
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!!!!

Busy year of traveling for me and now that I am home for a couple weeks noticed our push button speaker isnt working on the North side. Working to fix it but looks like the board might be toast and new one isnt available. Sorry everyone that came and it wasnt working. The speaker on the west side works.

We have been working diligently to get this years display up and running. As always with Christmas lights it wouldnt be a year without a bunch of lights out even after we tested them so we are working on that tonight and some Thursday. All should be fully working this weekend.
You will notice some new fun things throughout the display this year. Our penguin family has grown and you might spot a couple gnomes throughout the yard. The biggest change you will have to see for yourself.
Lights turn on Thanksgiving evening at 5pm. You can still listen to the lights from your car on 95.5FM.
We are once again accepting donations for March of Dimes in memory of our two NICU children and our little angel, Leland.

Alright settle an internal dilemma I am having… Are these moving heads lights too over the top for a Xmas light show?

I started decorating my parents home when I was a young teenager. It all started there with a bunch of C7 and C9 bulbs. From there it grew as we added a few thousand mini lights, some plywood cutouts and an inflatable. This picture was one of the last years I decorated my parents house.
Once I owned a home I had to start decorating it. This was when I started using Mr. Christmas which was how I got into animated lights. Each early I bought a few thousand more lights and it just kept getting bigger and bigger. I finally had to get a new electrical service in our garage to support it. (Christmas on U Street)
Beginning in 2010 we started taking donations for Make-A-Wish Foundation of Nebraska. 100% of the donations we collect go to grant wishes in Nebraska. I partnered with Make-A-Wish because I love the look I get from Kids who watch my light show so It just made sense to work with an organization that also works to make kids happy.
We moved in 2014 to our current home in the Sunridge Neighborhood. At this time we became Lammers Family Christmas display. Each year we add more features, songs, animated channels and Lights. LOTS AND LOTS of lights!!!!!
In 2018 we decided to partner with a new Charity that is close to our hearts, March of Dimes. As some may know, our son Nolan was a premature baby born 10 weeks early and spent 83 days in the NICU. He is the reason we decided to change and begin a new chapter with March of Dimes.
During the off season we still are all about Christmas working on repairs and new features.
