HIS Pantry at SHSF

HIS Pantry at SHSF HIS Pantry is a ministry, of Sacred Heart St Francis de Sales parish, that serves locally those in need of supplemental food.

We help to provide basic necessities for nutritional food options:
cereal, tuna, peanut butter, canned fruit, pasta & sauce, rice, mac & cheese, canned veggies, soup, baked beans, canned meals

We also try to provide fresh produce options, along with breads, yogurts, & cheese. We have personal hygiene items, if they get donated. These could include soap, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, toothbrus

h, dental floss, toilet paper, paper towels, facial tissues, laundry detergent, fabric softener, & dish detergent. Due to our demand, we ask that families only come 1 time per month, so we are able to serve all in need.

Dear friends of His Pantry--If you are wondering how you'll cope with your kids' summer food needs, here is information on where and when to pick up free food for kids in our area.

Program begins July 6. The following sites will be open Monday through Friday. Breakfast pick-up hours at all sites except Willow Park: 9-9:30 a.m. Lunch pick-up hours are listed by site. Thanks to the Vermont Digger for publishing these and other sites around our state.
1--Bennington Rec Center (655 Gage Street). Pick up lunch 11-11:30 a.m.
2--Bennington College (Visual Arts and Performing Arts Center). Pick up lunch 12-12:30 p.m.
3--Pownal Elementary School (School Street in Pownal). Pick up lunch 11-11:30 a.m.

Willow Park (456 Park, Bennington). Program here is open on Wednesdays from June 17-August 25. Hours: Pick up a meal kit with 7 days of breakfasts and lunches every Wednesday.

REDUCED HOURS ON CHRISTMAS EVE

Please note that we will only be open today, 12/24, from 1:00 - 2:00 pm, in order for our volunteers to spend time with their families on Christmas Eve.

We will be open regular hours on Friday, 12/26: 10:00 am - 11:30 am.
